Microfinance disbursement to SHGs at state level

The kerala State Women's Development Corporation has distributed Rs. One crore as part of its Microfinance project. As many as 39 selected SHGs received the microfinance credit during the function that was held at Kothamangalam on December 17, 2011.
Over 400 women were benefitted from the assistance and the Corporation aims to extends it to another 150 SHGs, when it receives the Rs. 5.5 crore sanction by National Minorities Development Finance Corporation(NMDFC).
Ministers K M Mani, Dr. M K Muneer and V K Ebrahim Kunju graced the function with their presence.
