The Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation Ltd.(KSWDC) desires to install 23 e-toilet units with Napkin Vending Machine & Incinerator in various locations of Thiruvananthapuram District. Interested Companies who are manufacturing & installing e-toilet units are requested to furnish proposal for installing 23 units of e-toilets with Technical & Financial Details separately to the Head Office of KSWDC.
Terms & Conditions
General
Proposals should reach at the Head office on or before 16.04.2012 11.30 AM. Belated proposals will not be considered.
Proposals which do not meet the minimum requirements will summarily be rejected.
The Company should have the facility to provide after sales back up support at Thiruvananthapuram and sufficient documents to prove the ability to provide the after sales support should be submitted along with the proposal.
Proposal should be submitted to install the unit of e-toilet, Napkin Vending Machine & Incinerator and proposal for individual item will not be accepted.
E-toilet
The e-Toilet should be a unique, compact system, designed using different materials and capable of withstanding environmental decaying issues and to have light weight. Moreover, the unit should be easily portable and it should be possible for dismantling & assembling at a new location at the earliest. Moreover, the e-Toilet should have a coin operated door as well as a manually operated door for the safety of the users for the unit
Cleaning should be automated and maximum cleanliness should be ensured in the e-Toilet unit using appropriate technologies
Inadequate availability of water or power will have to identified on time, thereby prompting closure of the unit, well in advance
Option for automatic payment collection from the users should be available in the toilet unit
Additional toilet fixtures, as in the case of a normal toilet should also be available
Necessary indications & displays for aiding the user to be provided in the toilet unit
Provision for fixing on-board advertisements outside the toilet unit for maximum revenue generation should be an option
The e-toilet unit should work with normal 230 V AC power. However, the unit should also have sufficient power back-up as per the requirement of the locality
The water tank of the unit should have a minimum capacity of 350 litres of water for storage. To monitor the water level automatically, use of sensors is desirable, enabling appropriate control on the working of the e-toilet unit
GPRS enabled system to view the status of working of the toilet units through internet, is desirable
It should be possible to easily attach a Sewage Treatment Plant as an additional feature, in areas where drainage facility is not available
Previous experience in installing e-Toilets at the State/Country level will be an added advantage.
Napkin Vending Machine
Sanitary napkin Vending Machine should be a coin-operated compact machine that automatically dispenses a pack of sanitary napkin with the insertion of One Re.5/- coin.
It should be a mechanically operated device
The Machine have following features also
Display of user instructions on the machine
Vends with denominated coins only and rejects fake coins
Does not accept coins when stock is empty
Alerts the Nil stock position through visual display mechanism
Incinerator
The Machine should be electrical operated and user-friendly.
The machine should have the capacity to burn/incinerate wastes like soiled cloth, cotton waste, sanitary napkins, paper towels etc.
Residues left after incineration should be non-hazardous.
The Machine should have the power saver option to avoid wastage of electricity.
